Who We Are

River Church Limerick is a Christ centred, Bible believing, Holy Spirit filled church in the heart of Limerick. Our greatest desire is to see people encounter the living Jesus, be changed by His presence, and released to live the life God has called them to.
Plan a Visit

River Church Limerick grew out of a desire for a local church where the Holy Spirit has full room to move. From the beginning, our heart has been to cultivate a community grounded in Scripture, deeply committed to Jesus, and open to the transforming work of God. What started as a vision in our hearts became a place where lives are touched, homes restored, and people called into God’s purposes.

Senior Pastors Antonio and Almudena Moldovan lead with a passion for the Word of God, the presence of God, and the fire of the Holy Spirit. Alongside Associate Pastors Trent and Muireann Maglaque, our team is committed to the call of God over this house.

Unless the Lord builds, we labour in vain. God is building His apostolic ministry here, and we are called to faithfully steward what He is establishing, walking in the unity and commanded blessing of Psalm 133 and fulfilling the equipping mandate of Ephesians 4:11.

We are passionate about raising disciples: grounding them in the Word, equipping them to function in their calling, and sending them out in the power of the Holy Spirit to win the lost at all cost.

From our earliest gatherings until now, we have witnessed God heal bodies, restore lives, and awaken hearts to His calling. We firmly believe that God has planted River Church Limerick for such a time as this. To be a house where people encounter Him and step into the fullness of His purpose as a Spirit-filled church in Limerick.

What Matters

Everything we do flows from the presence of God. When He is among us, lives are changed, hearts are softened and people meet Jesus in a real way.

We build our faith on the Bible as the inspired Word of God and our final authority for life and doctrine. We are committed to faithfully preaching and teaching Scripture and to living it out in everyday life, equipping disciples through careful engagement with the biblical text and trusted tools that deepen understanding, such as Nishbar.

We believe the Gospel still has power to save, forgive, heal and restore. Church is not a performance. It is a family where people can be honest, receive prayer and grow strong in their faith.
We expect the Holy Spirit to move among us with gifts, boldness and power. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, in prayer that changes things, and in God’s heart to heal.
We value children, youth and families and create spaces where each generation can encounter God in a way they understand. Kids Church is not childcare. It is discipleship for the youngest in the house.
Jesus said to go and make disciples of all nations. We take that call seriously, both on our own streets and to the ends of the earth. We share the Gospel, train believers and send people into what God is calling them to.
